How much is it to register for Girls' Volleyball?

$150, but if you register by Sunday, February 6th, 2022, you will receive a $25 early bird discount.

Do I need to buy a uniform if I am registered for 5-8th grade Volleyball?

Yes, if you do not have a uniform from the 2020 season that still fits you.

How much is the uniform, where can I purchase it, and what does the uniform include? 

$36, and it includes a volleyball jersey top. Girls will be asked to purchase their own black bottoms (based on what they are comfortable with) please ask your daughter's coach for more information on appropriate shorts. You can use this link to purchase.

What do I need to participate in volleyball?

Each player will need the designated uniform, gym shoes, appropriate practice attire, knee pads and a face mask.

When do I need to order my uniform by and where do I order it?

Players must have their uniforms ordered by February 11th to guarantee that they will be ready for the first game. You can purchase your uniform by using this link.

How often are practices, when do practices begin, and how long as practices?

Practices are 1-3 times a week (depending on grade level and games that week) and they begin at the end of October.  Practices are usually 60 - 90 minutes.

How many games are in a season and when do games begin and end? How many games are in a week?

There are approximately 10-12 games in the season.  Games begin in February and end in April. Depending on the week you could have 1-2 games.  

What league(s) does 5-8th grade play in?

Each team participates in 1 league. All teams will participate in the Classic League. 

Do you have a coach for the 5-8th girls' volleyball team? How many coaches need to be on each team?

As of now, we have head coaches for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade. We will be looking for assistant coaches for all 4 teams.  There needs to be two fully compliant adults at all games and practices.

What do I need to do to be a coach?

All Coaches must be fully compliant to volunteer.

How many players need to be registered to have a girls' volleyball team? What if there are not enough players.

A minimum of 7 players needs to be signed up for a team to be formed.  The players that are signed up will be given an option to play up a grade level with a team that does have enough players.

What if there is a large squad of players on a team?

The Athletic Director will work with the coaches to squad the team, add additional games, and/or come up with any other solution that fits the specific needs of the team. Each team will be on a case-by-case basis.  

Is there a parent meeting or team rules/conduct?

Yes, every team should have a parent meeting where player and spectator conduct, playing time, academic eligibility, and team rules are discussed. 

Do volleyball players have to follow the Academic Athletic Eligibility Policy?

Yes, every player is required to adhere to the Academic Athletic Eligibility Policy.  Please make sure you are familiar with the policy.  Academic eligibility will be reviewed every Tuesday morning and an email will be sent out by end of the day Tuesday.  Eligibility probation or ineligibility will last for one week from Wednesday to the following Tuesday when Academic eligibility is reviewed again. 

How does playing time work?

Playing time is different for each grade level.  In 5-6th grade playing time should be fair for the players. Playing time in 7-8th grade is more competitive. Playing time should be discussed at the beginning of the season at your team's parent meeting.  Please contact your team's coach if you have any questions about playing time.
